Bohnenkamp, Kenneth Francis. Nov. 20, 1949 - Dec. 9, 2021. Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Elsie. Survived by wife, Rose; daughter, Jolene; sons, Ken and John; daughter-in-law, Tammy; grandchildren, Jillian, Beau, JoRJA, and Brandon; siblings, Bill (Butch) (Connie); Joe; Bernie (Nancy); Barb Davis (Russ); Mary Meyer (Galen); Alan; Imelda Harris (Brad); Dave (Juli); Mark (Karen); Dan (Bridgie); and many nieces and nephews.
Married to Rose for 41 years, Ken was a devoted father. He loved to fish and hike, usually with a dog and one or more kids along. He often played Santa at Christmas time, delighting his many nieces, nephews, and friends' children. He could play most any stringed instrument, and music was a passion of his, especially bluegrass and country. In his spare time he repaired and refurbished bicycles and small engines. After retiring from his trucking career he was able to devote his time to his art, building numerous ships and other items in bottles, and giving them away.
He was a big-hearted teddy bear of a guy, and we will miss him dearly.
