I am so sorry to hear of my old childhood friends passing. Just recently connected with John Peccraro. We all grew up together and rode our Cushman scooters all over. I had intended to call but just never got the chance. I remember the day he came riding into our garage too fast and put a new door in the far wall over on Mayfield Ave. Many a good time was had in my basement playing with our pinball machine and playing cards. I really regret not having a chance to call and relive the old days. Remember him working as a car hop for awhile also out on Dodge by the golf course.
So sorry for your loss. I knew the family very well when we lived next door to Leslie and Gladys on S. 70th st. and the boys must have been in high school and I was in grade school. Leslie and Gladys were two of the kindest people I ever knew as I was growing up. My Mom and Dad and I missed them a lot when we moved away. Gail looks just how I remember his Dad. I wish that I had kept track of your sweet family. Blessings and prayers for strength. Connie Elaine Remkus
