2018 Memorial Day Observance Program

We invite you to join us for our 2018 Memorial Day Observance Program, presented by American Legion Post No. 1. The Program will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 at 10:00 am. The program will take place regardless of weather conditions.

This year we will be honoring Staff Sergeant Michael Andrew Bock, USMC. He was killed in action on August 13, 2010. For his heroic and life-saving actions, Michael was posthumously awarded the Silver Star.

Please join us at the funeral home immediately following the program for refreshments and vote to determine this years “What Memorial Day means to Me” contest winner. Students at Pinewood Elementary drew pictures of what Memorial Day means to them through their eyes. Drawings will be on display and voting will be open from Friday, May 25th thru Monday, May 28th.

Congratulations to Kaeden Newton, 2017’s contest winner! His artwork will also be on display at the funeral home.
