FOREST LAWN MEMORIAL PARK

OMAHA, NEBRASKA

In the old type cemeteries which are fast becoming sold out and neglected, wood rough boxes were used primarily; that is the reason for sunken graves, tipped and fallen monuments, hollows, ridges and an unsightly appearance. The pictures below show a typical comparison of two burials, one not using an outside burial container and the other using a concrete burial vault.

Forest Lawn Memorial Park over forty years ago adopted certain restrictions on below ground burial containers. These restrictions are entirely to your benefit, guaranteeing that your purchase cannot decline in value, but will become more and more valuable through the years. Our policy requires a permanent structurally sound burial vault for all burials

A permanent burial vault prevents the grave from caving or sinking and protects the casket and body of the loved ones. Permanently maintained beautiful lawns are only possible in a cemetery that holds to modern methods of operation.
