Jamie Streiff

Jamie has found Forest Lawn to be her true God-ordained calling, beyond a career. She is dedicated to serving her families on a personal and professional level. She maintains positive communications with compassion with client families, using her counseling expertise to help overwhelmed families cope with the loss of their loved one during the most difficult time of their lives. This experience and her strong faith have helped her find peace and healing closure relating to the loss of her own sister, nephew, and father; she enjoys giving back to families in need of the same support. To her, it is the greatest reward and blessing to meet wonderful families, hear their heartwarming stories and help them through this process while helping others eliminate any unnecessary stress and burden by preplanning. Jamie also has her funeral insurance license helping families prefund their funeral wishes before the time of need.

Jamie utilizes and enjoys her days off with her friends and family; husband Scott and daughters Madison and Megan.

She has firsthand experience of the journey one can take in losing a spouse and feels blessed every day for having a career that allows her to help others through the grief and tears. She knows the true gift being left to those when one pre-arranges final needs and understands how to help people through the process.

She is very involved in working with her church, community and serving the Lord any way she can. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and cooking, but, her greatest joy is spoiling her grandson, Trenton.

Tami Springer

Cemetery and Funeral Counselor

Tami Springer proudly joined the family at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery in April of 2017.

She was raised with two brothers on a small farm 20 miles south of Lincoln by Firth, Nebraska.  Growing up she was a member of 4-H, showing sheep and cattle, played softball for 8 years and was a member of the Norris junior and senior high band.  She attended UNL for 2 years and obtained her a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from College of St. Mary’s here in Omaha.

Tami and her husband, Wes, married in 1989 and made their home in Lincoln.  They have 2 grown children and all still live and worship there.  She enjoys camping, cooking and traveling with her family.  Tami worked over 20 years in tax firms and also worked as an Account Executive in advertising.  Her role as an Account Exec afforded her the opportunity to travel extensively; her territory stretched from Louisiana to Alaska.  It was in Louisiana in 2010 that she decided to change gears and move into a career in Family Services after touring Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans. Before coming to Forest Lawn, Tami worked for Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Lincoln, NE.

She happily and gratefully makes the 60 mile commute every day to work to help the families who understand how truly spectacular and special Forest Lawn is.  It is her honor to work with those during the passing of a loved one or to help them in the pre planning process.
