Frank Shannon was born on November 14, 1961 in Greenville, Mississippi to Frank and Dorothy.
Peanut as we all called him was a vibrant kid who danced around all the time trying to be the next Michael Jackson. Peanut found Jesus Christ at an early age, he attended Howard Kennedy as a youth and later graduated from Tech High. After graduation he went on to join the United States Army.
Peanut was known for his corny jokes and laughter, he had a strong work ethic, he was a self-starter and highly motivated. Peanut is preceded in death by his grandmother, Frankie; mother, Dorothy; aunts: Beatrice, Claudette and Queen; sister, Reenita; and a host of uncles and cousins.
Frank will be truly missed, he leaves to mourn, his Dad, L.J.; brothers: Edwin, Cedric, Landis, and Ronald; sisters: Felicia and Shelia; beautiful daughters: Akilah and Frankie; seven handsome sons: Antonio, Laron, Darnell, Frank III, Pierre, Jacquel, and Julius; and a host of nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 9, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial with Military Honors and Forest Lawn Cemetery.
