Dorothy Mae Colvin to Fred and Liddie (Means) Davis on March 21, 1926 in Mississippi and joined the Lord on February 18, 2021 in Omaha, Nebraska. Dorothy lived in Chicago for many years working in a publishing house for 42 years until return to Omaha. She is survived by her son John Richard Rupert; grandchildren: Donny and Jennifer, 4 great-grandchildren, sisters: Annie (Orell) Cotton, Revered Dr. Onnie Drain, Reverend Dr. Lonnie Goodwin of California, Cousin Christine Baskin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She is preceded in death by her brother Donald Davis and sisters: Freddie Mae Gaston and Doris Horton and her parents. A link will be provided Friday, February 26 to livestream the service.
